Dundee in Omaha, NE

    Having been established for over 100 years, Dundee, Nebraska is noted for being Omaha’s oldest urban city. The more venerable neighborhood is called Happy Hollow Historic District. It was developed in 1880 and retains many of its original historic homes. The Dundee District hosts a home owned by Warren Buffett, a philanthropist and wealth investment expert, who still owns and lives in a house he purchased in 1958. Dundee has a significant history, in that the Japanese, during World War II, attempted to set off an exploding bomb balloon over the city, in order to cause fear and panic, but their plan did not work.

    Communities:

    Dundee includes the family-friendly communities of Dundee Lockwood/Place/Drews and Dundee Heights.
