Today let’s talk about how we use technology to advertise our listings. There are three main things that set us apart that I think bring more buyers through houses.
1. Pictures. We use a professional photographer, Amoura Productions, to come out and shoot 25 to 35 HDR pictures of all of our homes, showcasing all of the best elements of what that house has to provide. We found that the more images we provide to the public, the more showings we get. Right now, it takes about 14 showings before we have an executed contract.
2. Video. We’re the only team in Omaha that shoots a high-definition, professional video of each and every house that we list. We spend over an hour and a half creating the video, and they’re able to edit it down to just 90 seconds of footage. We host those videos on our website as well as YouTube, so our homeowners can actually track how many people have watched the video.
3. Custom neighborhood videos. We shoot these videos with a car-mounted GoPro 4. Our team has created custom content of over 100 neighborhoods in the Omaha area so that when buyers are looking at houses online and want to know a little bit more about it, they can simply click on the neighborhood video and watch an actual drive-through of the area, complete with a voice-over and custom content all about the area: schools, shopping districts, and different activities that are available to them.
